Mother’s Day Gift Guide // 2016

Mother’s Day is the perfect excuse to show your lovely mum / mummy of your little one’s just how much you care.

With it creeping ever closer (it’s Sunday 6th March) if you’re still struggling to find the perfect gift, I’ve pulled together my pick of the best gift ideas to suit every wallet.

You can also take a peek at my last two Mother’s Day Gift Guide’s here and here for even more inspiration.

1 // Recycled Glass Tulip Vase, £14.45

Crafted in hand-blown recycled glass, this vase is perfect for a large bunch of tulips as it tapers to help prevent stems from drooping over and spoiling your arrangement. Simple and elegant, it would make a lovely gift for your lovely mum.

2 // Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate, £36

A miracle in a bottle; this lightweight, readily- absorbed elixir effectively restores skin’s healthy appearance overnight. What more can your mum ask for?

3 // Anorak Waddling Ducks Medium Toiletry Bag, £12

For those who like their practical items to look pretty too, this colourful Anorak wash bag is a perfect choice. I’m a massive fan of Anorak and their lovely prints and I’m sure your mum would be delighted to receive this Waddling Ducks toiletry bag, as it’s one of those items you never get around to updating yourself. Anorak also offer a variety of sizes and patterns, so check out their website for the rest of their beautiful wares.

4 // Flamingo Party Overnight Bag, £45

This contemporary, quirky overnight bag is perfect ‘weekend travel bag’ for your mum. It’s deceptively spacious, practical (it has a laminated cotton finish to keep it looking good for longer) and I adore the unique flamingo pattern. The bags are handmade with beautiful English craftmanship and matching toiletry bags and cosmetic purses are also available.

5 // Mother Baseball Tee, £30

I LOVE this baseball tee and if it’s as comfy as the Mother Sweater I was kindly bought for Christmas, I’m sure I wouldn’t want to take it off! Not only does it look super cool, all profits from the sale go to Women for Women International, an amazing charity that helps women in 8 war-torn regions rebuild their lives through training programmes.  This means £10 from the sale of each tee goes straight to help others! This really is the gift that keeps on giving.

6 // Set of Three House Wall Shelves, £94.95

How pretty are these! If your lovely mum is after somewhere to showcase her little keepsakes, these three house shelves make the perfect display. If you’re feeling creative she / you can even paint the wood to match her existing colour scheme. They can be displayed free-standing or wall hung and would suit any room in the home.

7 // Anorak Kissing Squirrels Coolbag, £38

Anorak is one of my favourite brands (hence why they feature twice in this guide!) and this kissing squirrels coolbag is ace! With it’s retro boxy shape, its spacious with a capacity of 20l and is the perfect present for your picnic-loving mum. Cleverly, it also has straps to secure an Anorak picnic blanket in place too!

8 // Glass Hanging Frame, £10.95

I absolutely adore these glass hanging frames. They look amazing grouped together in an assortment of sizes and orientations and the glass front and back makes them not only great for photographs but also a fantastic way to display other precious keepsakes including concert tickets, postcards and drawings.

9 // Don’t Buy Her Flowers Recovery Package, from £41

Perfect for your lovely mum, this gorgeous recovery package will go down a storm! Containing a host of lovely products including Skin & Tonic Gentle Facial Scrub, Sister & Co Coconut Oil, Laughing Bird Shea & Cocoa Butter Body Cream, Laughing Bird Lemon & Walnut Body Scrub and Love & Peace Tealights, this recovery package should definitely be up there if you are looking for a ‘thoughtful’ gift.

10 // Barney & Wilf Collage, from £70

Barney & Wilf have taken a really simple concept and turned it into a brilliant business. They create the most beautiful prints with mini-versions of your children’s artwork, enabling you to showcase their masterpieces without running out of wall space. It’s obviously too late to get any artwork turned around before Mother’s Day but why not treat your mum to some Barney & Wilf gift vouchers so she can choose what artwork she’d like to display.

11 // Organic Shea Butter and Vitamin E Repair Balm, £18.95

A handbag staple, this Organic Shea Butter and Vitamin E Repair Balm is a jack of all trades. It repairs and relieves chapped lips, insect bites, scars, sun damages, burns, eczema, cold sores, etc. and is ideal for night time use or during the day when skin is especially dry.

12 // Diptyque Candle, £40

You can never go wrong with a scented candle, especially one from Diptyque.

13 // Bloom & Wild Subscription, from £50

Give your mum the gift that keeps on giving with a fabulous floral subscription from Bloom & Wild. Choose between a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription and she’ll love you that little bit more every month when a gorgeous bunch of flowers lands on her doorstep.

Lovely choices, I think Mother tees are going to be very popular this year. I like the flamingo bag and those shelves the most – although I’m not sure I’ll be spending this much on my mum :( xReplyCancel
