“No job’s too big, no pup’s too small!
PAW Patrol, we’re on a roll”
Yesterday morning, we were very excited to be invited to PAW Patrol Live! Race to the Rescue at the O2 Apollo, Manchester.
Based on the hit TV series, PAW Patrol Live! Race to the Rescue brings Ryder and everybody’s favourite pups, Marshall, Rubble, Chase, Rocky, Zuma, Skye and the newest pup Everest to the stage for an action-packed, high-energy, musical adventure.
Without spoiling the show and giving too much away, it’s the day of the Great Race between Adventure Bay’s Mayor Goodway and Foggy Bottom’s Mayor Humdinger. When Mayor Goodway hurts her foot and is unable to race, the pups come to the rescue (with the help of the audience of course!) to save the day. Using each of their unique skills and teamwork, the pups make several heroic rescues on their race to the finish line and Phoebs especially loved cheering and cajoling the pups along on their adventure.
The show lasts for approximately 75 minutes with an all important 15 minute interval / loo and snack break, so it’s the perfect length for keeping the attention of little ones.
PAW Patrol Live! Race to the Rescue really is a wonderful show and I can’t recommend it enough for your little PAW Patrol fans. I was slightly concerned that Jack would find it quite boring now he’s reached the grand old age of nearly 6, but he really did enjoy it and both he and Phoebe totally immersed themselves in the show and joined in the singing and cheering with gusto.
The live theatre production of PAW Patrol Live! Race to the Rescue is continuing its tour for the next few months visiting London, Nottingham, Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Leeds, Cardiff and Glasgow. There are still tickets on sale for the rest of the tour but they’re selling out fast so to avoid disappointment book now!
Disclosure: We were kindly gifted four tickets to watch PAW Patrol live in exchange for this review.
