Now winter has well and truly set in, there is nothing nicer than snuggling up in a dressing gown on a cold winters morning. A few weeks ago the whole family had them except poor Phoebs who, upon waking in the morning was kept in her sleeping bag as long as possible just to keep her toasty and warm; not ideal for a little girl who loves playing with her toes!
So when My 1st Years offered us the chance to review a product from their website, I quickly chose the Personalised Star Hooded Robe and couldn’t wait for it to arrive. After all they don’t come much sweeter than one with cute little bear ears on the hood, and your name embroidered on the front, do they?!
As you can see, she’s rather taken with it, and so am I.
It arrived promptly, which I was super impressed with especially as it has been personalised with her name and it was beautifully gift wrapped inside a Tiffany-esque box which was a great touch.
The robe is super-soft, thick, beautifully stitched and it washes really well too. It also comes with two patch pockets, a long waist tie and a very cute, snugly hood which is perfect for after-bath time.
Available in sizes 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-2 years and 2-3 years, we have been sent the 6-12 months size and it is perfect for Phoebs at 6 months old. It is obviously on the larger side for her now but she happily wears it with the sleeves rolled up and the length is great.
The My 1st Years Personalised Star Print Hooded Robe is available in pink and blue.
Costing £20, this Star Print Hooded Robe from My 1st Years is brilliant value for money, especially for a personalised item. If you’d like personalisation, My 1st Years offer a service where you can choose to personalise your dressing gown (up to 12 characters for FREE) and you can even choose the colour of the wording.
I’m really impressed with the robe. Not only is it super cute to look at, it keeps Phoebe nice and toasty on a cold winter’s morning and it’s brilliant quality and value.
You can find all the latest news from My 1st Years on their Facebook and Twitter pages. There are also lots of other lovely personalised gift for babies and young children, from personalised clothing to beautiful personalised keepsakes, on the My 1st Years website, so go and check them out.
Coincidentally, when Phoebe was born she was very kindly given a number of other items from My 1st Years as gifts from friends and family, including a gorgeous pair of personalised booties and a lovely moneybox. These other items are of a similar high quality to the robe and I wouldn’t hesitate purchasing anything else from My 1st Years for my two or as a gift for friends.
Disclosure: I was very kindly sent this robe free of charge for the purpose of this review, however all opinions are my own and I’d still rave about it even if i’d paid for it!
