Me & Mine: A family portrait project // March 2015

Woohoo, I’m back on track with a proper family photo to throw into the mix this month and there’s not a family selfie in sight!

These photos were taken on Mother’s Day in our garden during an early dinner with my folks and my lovely granny.

I had a lovely Mother’s Day with the family, the first as a mummy of two and despite a lack of lie in (i’m still breastfeeding so that was never going to happen!) we had a leisurely start to the day followed by a lovely morning at our local swimming baths. We have created two water babies so needless to say there was a lot of splashing, jumping in and dunking daddy! After nap-time, my parents and granny came round for the afternoon and we had a yummy early dinner with the littles which was lovely. I also got the camera out to take some precious photos of Phoebe with her great granny as we don’t have that many, Phoebs with mum and dad and of course one of the 4 generations of ladies on Mother’s Day. (Jack was in ‘run away from the camera’ mode, hence his absence!)

March has been a lot kinder to us on the illness front and we are loving ‘Spring’ so far. We’ve had a lovely month with lots of days playing in the park, a friend’s gorgeous wedding, birthday parties and I feel healthier than ever after a week trialling Soulmatefood (review coming soon!).
