Review* // House of Fraser childrenswear

I’ve always been a big fan of House of Fraser so when they got in touch recently to see if the little ones would be interested in reviewing an item or two from their children’s clothing range I didn’t hesitate in saying yes.

To be perfectly honest, since having Jack and Phoebs I have completely overlooked the House of Fraser childrenswear department as I have always presumed they would only stock premium branded, expensive threads.

Well, I couldn’t have been more wrong.

In addition to the well-known brands, they also stock an extensive range of affordable childrenswear too including brands such as Pumpkin Patch, Yumi, Bonnie Baby and Toby Tiger.

I was invited to choose clothing from the House of Fraser website up to the value of £30, to showcase some of their stylish, lesser known and more affordable brands, and to be honest it was really hard choosing something to review as there were so many gorgeous bits to choose from; far more than I imagined for the budget. I also had the quandary of whether to buy for Jack, Phoebs or something for each of them, but when I saw this Bonnie Baby dress I just fell in love with it, so my mind was made up; sorry Jacko!

The dress arrived by courier a few days after ordering, and I wasn’t disappointed. This incredibly soft knitted sweater dress is made from 95% cotton and 5% cashmere and fits Phoebe perfectly. The panda Intarsia motif is super cute and I adore the striped sleeves and hints of yellow too. There are buttons on the back of the dress to ease it over your little one’s head easily and it’s also machine washable at 30 degrees which is another bonus.

As you can see Phoebe has taken a shining to it aswell!

This dress was a brilliant buy. It’s really well made and is one of those items that you know will ‘wear well’ thanks to its high quality.

If you haven’t checked out House of Fraser’s childrenswear before, I highly recommend you do so now. They have such a vast selection of lovely clothes and at the moment a lot of their stock is on sale so there are lots of real bargains to be had.

You can find all the latest news from House of Fraser on their Facebook and Twitter pages and to see the full range of their gorgeous childrenswear, visit their website.

Disclosure: I was sent this lovely dress for the purpose of this review, but all opinions are my own.
