Giveaway // Mamas & Papas Armadillo Flip XT Pushchair

giveaway

To celebrate the launch of the latest edition to the Mamas & Papas Armadillo family – the Armadillo Flip XT – I was recently invited to take part in a ‘Blogger Challenge’ with a chance to win an Armadillo Flip XT to give away to one of my readers. We were tasked with taking a photo of the Armadillo Flip XT in use, showcasing one of its USPs in a creative and interesting way.

There were numerous USPs to choose from including:

  • Wriggle room – big seat designed to let them stretch
  • Patented 2 way easy-fold technology – folds and opens in seconds with one hand, whichever way the seat is facing so you never have to take the seat off to fold
  • Chunky wheels with tread
  • The world’s most compact fold – the smallest in its class, fits easily into a Fiat 500
  • XXXL hood – UPF 50+ fabric for ultimate protection in every kind of weather

I chose to showcase the XXXL hood (brilliant for naps as well as protection from the sun) and set off into Manchester’s Northern Quarter for an urban feel to the photo, as I think it’s the perfect urban stroller due to it’s compact nature.

This was my entry…

i like that it’s the world’s most compact fold we dont have Fiat500 but normally have lots of other stuff in the car boot so its always not enough space to put pushchair inReplyCancel

    • AnnabelMarch 21, 2015 - 9:04 pm

Tested this out at Mamas and Papas today and it’s our first choice travel system. We have a tiny Volkswagen Fox, but this fits in the boot with room to spare! Love the large hood, and the lightweight compact fold.ReplyCancel

  • Melissa RatcliffeMarch 8, 2015 - 10:41 am

Love the fact that it can be opened and closed with one hand. Having two young children this would be a god send as my current single buggy is a travel system, it’s heavy takes up a lot of room and I need two hands!ReplyCancel

I love the compact fold feature- perfect if you have a small car or limited storage spaceReplyCancel

  • Laura HardingMarch 8, 2015 - 3:59 pm

That it folds really small – we struggle with our big buggy in the back of the car when we go on holiday, what with the travel cot and stuff, so something smaller would help make travelling easier xReplyCancel

How compact it is! Our boot isn’t huge so size really does matter 😉ReplyCancel

  • catherine killenMarch 8, 2015 - 7:31 pm

So many to choose from but I think it would be that you don’t have to remove the seat to fold it in seconds- such a small thing that would make such a difference, especially when out with an active 7 year old and a headstrong three year old-those few minutes can make all the difference xReplyCancel

  • Lynn HeathMarch 8, 2015 - 7:40 pm

The world’s most compact fold – the smallest in its class this is the most important feature for me as I don’t have loads of spaceReplyCancel

  • jacqueline buistMarch 8, 2015 - 7:46 pm

Has to be the one hand fold, this would make things so much easier when trying to hold the wee one & fold down the pushchair at the same time.ReplyCancel

  • Mummy on a BudgetMarch 8, 2015 - 7:49 pm

The Easy Fold feature definitely. This is so important when it’s raining, you’re in a rush etc.!ReplyCancel

The compact fold is a great feature i think so it will fit snugly in the car with all the other gear we need!ReplyCancel

  • TracyMarch 8, 2015 - 9:48 pm

LOVE the bigger hood. One of my pushchair pet peeves is a hood that is virtually useless in sunny weather! This one looks fab!!ReplyCancel

  • kerryMarch 9, 2015 - 7:10 am

My favourite thing about this pushchair is that you can have it parent facing and it folds without you having to take apart, and rare combination which I have been looking for. Would love this pushchair for my newborn daughterReplyCancel

  • MichelleMarch 9, 2015 - 9:00 am

Wow!! Love this stylish stroller, perfect for my little girl. Excellent for protection against the sun’s rays with the extra extra large hood, would not need an umbrella which is easy forgettable.. Also perfect size for travelling to hotter countries ???? i love the Armadillo Flip XT xReplyCancel

  • Leonie GilmoreMarch 9, 2015 - 9:04 am

I love the one hand folding as I am fed up of having to take apart my current pram to get it in the boot of my small car. Taking muddy wheels off isn’t much fun in this wonderful weather we’re having. :)ReplyCancel

  • BriannaMarch 9, 2015 - 9:05 am

I love the fact you can open and close it up with one hand, my baby boy is due on 25th May and with already having a toddler this would be a godsend on public transport as there is never any room and I don’t have a car so have no choice but face the rush of all the mums to get first in the queue for the pram/pushchair spaces lol. Also it is such a gorgeous summer colour for a boy.ReplyCancel

  • Carol MowatMarch 9, 2015 - 9:09 am

its easy fold facility and not having to take the seat off to fold.ReplyCancel

  • LucyMarch 9, 2015 - 9:14 am

Me and my little man, Ruari would love the xxxl hood. He is a proper little gizmo “ahhh bright light. Bright light!” and doesn’t enjoy the bright lights in his face so mummy has to act as sun blocker all the time!ReplyCancel

    • LucyMarch 9, 2015 - 9:34 am

Oh and in addition to that he is a gorgeous redhead so that hood will help to protect his gorgeous pale complexion!ReplyCancel

  • LISA POLLITTMarch 9, 2015 - 9:23 am

I love the look, it’s trendy, and as I am an ‘older mum’ I need all the help I can to keep with it. I need a pram that is both nippy & lightweight. My intention is to walk off my weight so the right pram is so important & I notice you managed to get trainers to match ????ReplyCancel

    • Steph@HelloBabyMarch 9, 2015 - 9:40 am

Ha, it was intentional of course Lisa :)ReplyCancel

  • Sarah MeredithMarch 9, 2015 - 9:38 am

  • Emma StubbingtonMarch 9, 2015 - 9:45 am

I just love the Armadillo Flip XT, ive spent weeks looking so many different buggies as this is by far the best, I love the reversible seat position and the fact you don’t have to take the seat unit off to fold down like so many other buggies. So handy! It also looks lovely and I think my boy would be so comfy in it!ReplyCancel

  • HollyMarch 9, 2015 - 9:58 am

Love the compact fold and that it doesn’t take up much space in the boot :)ReplyCancel

  • SaffronMarch 9, 2015 - 12:28 pm

My fave feature would have the be the tiny fold, and the handle to carry it with! That handle would just make all the difference in the world as I spend a lot of time lugging my pram around now and struggle as it’s really quite heavy! And takes up literally every bit of space in my boot!ReplyCancel

  • Fariba Mansouri - JohnsonMarch 9, 2015 - 1:02 pm

  • Suzanna ForsytheMarch 9, 2015 - 4:53 pm

I love the compact fold – I have a rather small car so the smaller the pram/stroller can fold down to, the better!ReplyCancel

  • EllieMarch 9, 2015 - 6:26 pm

Can’t choose between the hood (perfect for a summer baby) and the fact it is compact, lightweight and a one-handed fold (perfect for our top floor flat, the Tube and our tiny car). Perhaps I’ll go for the colour instead!ReplyCancel

Theres a time and a place for Armadillos and in my life the time is now and the place is our house! The reasons?? Quick and easy to fold and store yes please!! After discovering since the birth of my princess how tiny my Corsa is this would be a god send as my current ‘travel system’ cannot be described as easy to store! Able to fold one handed?? Brilliant, also discovered one hand is all I now have available! Also and slightly less important but worth mentioning, the colour completely goes with my living room which is also teal so ideal for the 30 seconds a day it would be passing through it, anyone looking through the window would assume I was so stylish I had planned it!!ReplyCancel
