Christmas gift ideas // For babies and new parents

Admittedly, babies may not yet be aware of the magic of Christmas, but family and friends will most likely want to spoil them for their first Christmas nonetheless. Thankfully there are endless gift options to mark the occasion, so here are a few of my favourite gifts for new parents and their little cherubs.

Christmas gift ideas for babies

1 // Bathing Bunnies cuddly duck baby bath robe, £27.49

This Cuddly Duck hooded baby dressing gown is made in snuggly soft lemon cotton towelling and features a bright orange beak and tuft of white head feathers! It comes beautifully presented with a cream ribbon to create a freestanding soft ‘toy’ and it can be personalised to make it a more personal gift.

2 // Peek-a-boo Miffy: A Lift the flap book, £5.99

My two love Miffy and Phoebs is a huge fan of a lift the flap book, so I had to include this gorgeous book. Beautifully illustrated, this book is a great way to encourage imagination and practise dexterity and fine motor skills.

3 // Lil’ Cubs Sleepsuit, £15

Let’s face it new parents are never short of sleepsuits, but you can never have too many pretty and practical sleepsuits like the fabulous ones from Lil’ Cubs. Lil’ Cubs have made our lives that little bit easier by adding zips to their Lil’ Cubs babygros to get rid of our popper frustration! Brilliant! The prints are also unisex ensuring they’re the ideal present for expectant mothers.

4 // Little Tikes Soothe Me Koala, £17.99

Little Tikes’ Soothe Me Koala is a comforting friend for day and night. If you press its tummy, the koala’s glowing heart shines with 10 minutes of lullabies or nature sounds for bedtime soothing. Designed to sit on a nightstand at night or cuddle with during day, it would make a super cute gift.

5 // Britax Dualfix Car Seat, £350

It’s no secret that I adore Britax products and the Dualfix is just brilliant. Read my full review here to see why I love it so, but if you’re looking to splash the cash this Christmas, they’ll be over the moon if they find a Dualfix under the tree.

6 // Cley Designs Fingerprint Heart Necklace, £69

A fingerprint is one of the most unique things in the world, so I love the idea of having the fingerprints of my little ones on a necklace to create a bespoke piece of jewellery. Cley Designs offer a whole host of different designs and I know that if I were to find one of these under the tree on Christmas day it would be treasured for a lifetime.

7 // Childs Farm baby bedtime set, £9.74

I adore Childs Farm products. Not only are the products kind on the skin, they smell incredible too and come in a variety of ‘flavours’ including strawberry and mint, sweet orange, blackberry and apple and raspberry to name but a few! If you’d like to give Childs Farm products a try, I’m happy to be able to offer you a whopping 30% off the entire Childs Farm range on their website using the code: CFAMB272

8 // The Original Cuddledry handsfree baby bath towel, £29.99

A must have for any parent, the Cuddledry bath towel is such a clever invention. By wearing the towel like an apron, it allows a parent to have both hands free to safely lift their baby out of the bath to dry them and the hood is perfect for keeping little heads snug and warm. Made with staysoft bamboo and pure cotton, this towel is thick, soft and highly absorbent. It’s also huge, so not only does it keep babies toasty after the bath, it also keeps parents dry and protected from over exuberant splashing!

9 // Miffy classic stacking blocks, £20

I bought stacking boxes for Jack when he was little and both he and Phoebe (a few years later) adored building them up and bashing them down. These blocks are beautifully illustrated with colourful images on each side and are sturdy enough to take a good knocking!

10 // Nibbling Chelsea Teething Necklace, £28

This Chelsea Teething Necklace is the hot accessory for new mums who want to add something stylish and baby safe to their look. All babies grab and gnaw at any available jewellery and this pretty necklace is food safe, BPA free, Phthalate free and dishwasher safe.

11 // Blade & Rose leggings, £10

High quality and durable, these leggings come in a huge number of different designs for boys and girls. We’ve been through a fair few pairs in our household and not only do they look super cute with the quirky design on the bum, they are also really comfortable for the little ones.

12 // Amawrap baby sling wrap, £39.99

Made from a single piece of stretchy fabric, the AmaWrap has garnered rave reviews. Easy to tie, the AmaWrap is comfortable for parents and gives the best hip position for baby. You can even breastfeed whilst wearing it! It comes in a variety of colours and is ideal for keeping little bundles all snuggly close to their parents.

Oh, that sling wrap is amazing! I used it with my second. She suffered from awful colic and having her in the sling helped her and allowed some relief and she managed to sleep xReplyCancel
