Brand new for the Spring Summer ’16 season, Cath Kidston have introduced a fabulous new novelty print featuring ‘Gnorris the gnome’ and I adore it!
To celebrate the arrival of the latest character to join the Cath Kidston print family, Cath Kidston kindly sent us a gnome painting kit which Jack and I thoroughly enjoyed whilst Phoebs was having a lunchtime snooze.
Wearing our fabulous new aprons (mine featured the lovely new Gnome print), we had a ball painting our little gnomes with the nifty little porcelain pens provided.
We let them dry for four hours then popped them in the oven to heat fix them before adding their eyes, naming them (Milly and Lily; Jack decided neither of them looked like a Gnorris!) and adding a touch of sparkly glitter and a few stickers!
Unfortunately they never quite made it to the garden as Jack insisted they join his superheroes in his bedroom, but we had such a lovely afternoon decorating them together and I’m pretty proud of our efforts!
We have also been taking part in the #GnorristheGnome challenge over on Instagram, take a peek and join in yourself for the chance to win a £100 gift voucher and a bundle of Cath Kidston goodies.
Disclosure: We were provided with the craft goodies free of charge for the purpose of this post, thanks so much CK team, we had a blast getting our craft on!
